Since it's nearly 4, I shouldn't be drinking black tea since it normally has more caffeine. But the green and white tea needs to be steeped at a particular temperature.
Four teas. One tea obsessed person. So many problems.
If I over-steep the black tea (which does happen), it'll get too bitter. But the white tea is so bloody picky. So many problems.................
..................Nyaaa~..........Aww, I finished the whole Taiko drumming CD again.........
Caution: Spending too much time trying to figure out which tea you want will make you go insane.
Why did I have to get 4 choices at once? It's like the world is playing a sick joke on me.

Okay, I have reached my limit. I have no where else to turn. Desperate times call for the most desperate measures (Hey, the heater turned on).
It is time. To ask my sister.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now she was no help!!! Didn't even give me a way to choose. This is why you never ask for her help.
Now I'm still left with this stupid problem!! And I'm still freezing even though the heater is on!!!
I feel like I have been beaten by tea. At least I have narrowed it down to two. The white and the green.
Alright!! I have it! It shall be the Full Leaf White Tea! Mostly cause I saw it says Chamomile in the ingredients and I would rather like to sleep at night. I drink Chamomile tea before I go to bed everyday.
So white tea has won. Now I need to find that thermometer to make sure I do this right.
Be right back at the keyboard.
So, it has this odd smell. There is the normal tea leaves smell, but underneath. It's hard to describe. Not unpleasant, but also not pleasant. Wow. It's hard to find something that smells like it. It's not the Egyptian Chamomile, nor the Chinese white full leaf tea. It could be the Chinese Osmanthus flower. Hmmm. I'll have to wait a bit since it would burn my mouth at this point.
So this review will be on the Steven Smith Tea-maker Blend: No. 72. It's name is the White Petal.
Update: It's cooled down enough so what does it taste like? That odd smell doesn't transfer into a taste, which is good. I can taste out the chamomile and the white tea leaves fine. Oh, I tasted a bit of that osmanthus flower. Not bad but unique.
Review? Not something I would brag about to all my tea-loving friends, but still very nice. It's smooth and has no bad aftertaste.
Grade? About a B-
I like Green gold standard sencha tea and tradiation english breakfast tea. But I love all types of coffee! :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, Breakfast tea...The reason weekends and thermoses were created. Whenever I have some in the morning, I do loads better on whatever test/quiz/assignment I have to do.
DeleteCoffee is okay, I mostly only drink mochas when I have the chance. Too expensive though.
