So after initially seeing it a month or two ago, the same dress was still at the Asian Market! I love, love, love this dress. And normally I'm not girly at all. I don't wear dresses unless it's a formal event (my tunic at the Ren faires don't count).
Yet this dress...I could be an assassin in it! (I made a similar outfit on Soul Caliber with the same kinda style.)
It's a Chinese traditional style (called a Cheongsam, wiki it) that is ankle length, but with a split doing up to my thigh. It's black with red embroidery and the inside is also red. It fits me like a glove, it was made for me. In the words of Shortie: "Accentuates what you don't really have."
Prom can't come fast enough! My Freshman is going to style my hair in a type of bun we (I) saw from a manga. Can't wait! Spain, Squirrel, Ash (Ash's new boyfriend), Shortie (and her date), and Ishy are all meeting up to go as a group! Even though it also means that Spain and Squirrel are graduating.
Anyway, I think that Prom would be a great Enlightenment News Report to reveal Usagi's True face. (For those who don't know, Enlightenment News is my made-up News Report station. I used it before as a school project and still have it back in my head.)
