Since I'm not allowed to really give to much away since it is now our "secret weapon". We learned a whole lot and even finished an hour early! That hour was spent playing ninja, jumping onto a landing pad used for high jumps, playing statues, and me figuring out how to do the groundwork tumbles like Tiff does.
But more on some stuff during the class. We all had to have partners before the day planned out and I was Spain's partner. (It was her job to get me up this morning before ten). We did the normal punching and kicking with the pads held by our partner. As the teacher came up and saw how hard we were palm-heeling the pads, he made a joke about us injuring the other. Of course, I feigned shock and said "Why would I hurt her? She is my wife!" His face: priceless! (Background since I don't think I have explained this yet. It happened a while back and just since I was Romano and she was Spain, we had made the joke about them having kids and somehow I became a husband and she is now my wife. And Hetalia fans now that in the dubbed version of Sweden and Finland, Sweden goes "This is my wife." to Finland, which I now do with Spain.) Anyway, I think his reaction was so funny, both of us were giggling so much.
Now back to what we did for the last hour. First was a game of ninja! I actually won for once! We had around three rounds of statues, all I was very close to winning. Then we also had sumo fights between the people left with me as the referee. Our own Squirrel won against everyone. Tiff even tried several times with Judo moves of trying to trip her. After that, we discovered a landing pad in the corner normally used for high jumps and stuff like that. We dragged it out and practiced jumping on, somersault landings from a jump and I myself did ninja rolls (I jumped, rolled on, and landed on the end of the pad kneeling as I pretended to throw shurikens. Yes I am that much of a nerd). We layed on it for a while, looked at the ceiling like cloud watching then played King of the Mat. I gave up after two tries and hung out with Spain as she carried me piggyback style. It was fun and I was happy I am still just light enough!
So that was the great day I had with six hours of groundwork and practice. And I even got a picture of the class! Of course I still want myself to remain a secret for a while! Maybe soon!
Oh I forgot to add something! The last thing we all did was start singing "Be A Man" from Mulan. Yep. We are all nerds.
Ciao, ja matta!
Amazing! I didn't start it that time.
ReplyDeleteThat time. All the other times it's your fault.
