My Characters! Woo!

So all these pictures are mostly just for the costumes because there weren't a lot of model choices. And I also had to imagine how they would look as adults because of the models. I'll try not to give too much of the plot away but also give good details on the characters on their costumes.
Note: I use the term pre-modern here lightly. For me, pre-modern is before cars, steam engine, guns are still not used often and jam easily, medicine is various herbs, and clothing is much cooler than today. I would say just around the time way before Industrial Revolution in Britain. Maybe....before the Enlightenment (Woo History). Wow, I forgot about this post for a few hours...Sorry.

This is Lisia (Always Travelling Series: Book 2 and 4: Revenge
and War At Sea) At first you only see her as a child but in book 4
she is eighteen.
Lisia has the power of controlling water, so lots of blue tones. The Always Travelling Series is set in a fantasy world in pre-modern times, so no real modern stuff like jeans or t-shirts, but I allow the girls to wear pants and such.
Anyway, Lisia in the first book runs around a lot so a long skirt is easy to move around in, and a blouse with a vest is pretty normal garb (even seen in Book 1). She wears to hat to hide who she is sometimes and the shoes would normally be boots but these are close enough. Every pre-modern heroine needs a bag to hold *cough cough* weapons *cough cough* and other essentials. Notebook in hand and her mother's necklace and she is perfect.
Note: Lisia has black hair and one grey and one brown eye. Her skin is also very fair.

Really bad quality. But this is Marina (Always Travelling Series:
Book 2 and 4: Revenge and War at Sea, In case you forgot). She
is seen as child at first and in Book 4 she doesn't appear as often.
So this is Marina! Also has power to control water and why wouldn't she? Marina is Lisia's unborn twin (Yes, I know I used a different model). As a spirit, Marina ages herself to look like how she would if she had lived. She likes to float above Lisia and bug her.
Outfit: As a spirit, normally I imagined her with a flowing white skirt and shirt, but again, the website has limits. So flow-y skirt (blue shade) and a flow-y shirt. I though the shirt is too modern but it kinda works with the skirt. Left arm (our right) has same bracelet at Lisia but a different bracelet on the right and her own anklet (Spirits don't wear shoes). Reading book and other papers she carries as a spirit and good.
Note: Marina has black hair and also has two colored eyes, but opposite as Lisia. Fair skinned as well.

This is Renna (Academic Studies/Mischief). Seen as a
teenager about twelve to fourteen, I'm too lazy to go find the
paper to double check. She is the main character.
Renna's story is set in the same world as Always Travelling but starts in different country and you see a whole different social circle. She is basically a scholar and is one of the few new females students in a once all male academy.
This is not the outfit she wears in school but her formal wear/musician garb. Yes, she does play the violin and very beautifully in fact. The dress is made of a heavy silk for winter but still easy to move around in when playing. The belt is used to separate the single piece and I wanted a belt (There were about 1000 different belts on the site). Boots were hard because of the slit up the side, so black and long. Renna doesn't like showing skin, as she was a noble. A nice cape from her sister to keep her warm and her violin at her side with her music notes.
Note: Renna has medium length, light brown hair. I just went with this model cause the way she ties back her hair.

I'll be making a part two soon. I'm just losing focus. Ciao for now.

Wow really?

So a website that Survivorgrrrl (Now called JuneDecember) uses to make all the pictures for her fashion blog is shutting down so I decided it might be fun to dress up some of my characters for newer ideas. I was creating Medusa, a character whom I love to bits because she is awesome, when I realized I forgot what I would always imagine her in. I tried to bring all the character ideas back into my head but they kinda all vanished!
Why is that?! I now Realized I never really imagined out the costumes for characters unless it is a short story or the dress in described in the story. So in FDTR, where the story is more modern and I never really thought about the outfits past the school uniform, everything just vanished!.....*sigh* I really hate my mind sometimes...I'll try to at least bring back Medusa and the school uniforms back. Please hold while I smack my head.
Pictures will be up shortly.
Oh and another thing. When I click the jeans button, I'm looking for normal, comfy to wear jeans. Not skinny jeans, or ripped jeans, or jeans that had God-knows-what happen to them. Just normal jeans. Is that too much to ask? Didn't think so!

~Nehhhhhhh~ Sakura-con envy!!!!!!

Because of me being in my very lethargic state lately, I've been surfing the internet much more than normal because I'm getting far more bored with thing. So while looking through the Sakura-con website (for the....100th time), I found out about the Masquerade Ball. Cue me squealing in joy. (New fact about me: I love masquerade balls and big fuffy [yes spelled correctly. Fuffy.] dresses from the Victorian age and beyond). So after discovering oil paints are the new bane of the world, I'll be making a new mask. This time: With acrylics!! I'm so glad I have artist friends who trust me enough that they let me borrow paints at the drop of a hat.
I'm a little over halfway to my Sakura-con goal money thanks to Christmas presents (I know you're reading this and you know who you are). My sis did some basic math a few days ago while waiting outside Barnes and Nobles and said that all together (with the price Spain gave me for hotel and ticket) so I know how much I need with food costs and spending money.
So I found more manga so now I leave ya. And by the by, if anyone who is reading this is also heading to Sakura-con, you get extra points if you can find me when I'm over there!

Ehhhhh Post

I was trying to work on this one story I had this weird idea for. Since I had to look for guy names (which I hate since it's hard finding the right one) I decided to go with Latin or Roman name. Here is what went through my mind as a writer.
Don't like that name...Why do they all sound girly to me.. Don't like that one, or that one....*scrolls randomly down half the page* *sigh* what is with all these names?.....Wonder how many pages there are? *Looks at bottom at page* Six pages? *Audible groan* Why did I pick this one? *Head falls hard on desk* Ow!!!
Now I have a headache on top of getting over my weird cold thingy. Oh yeah, that's why I haven't made many posts lately. I haven't been able to talk thanks to Spain's weird tea thing. I don't believe I actually posted the story of how I got sick yet...Oh well, better do that tomorrow.

I'm never going to get this song recorded, Am I?

Let's have story-time today, shall we? This happened not even half an hour ago. (When I started typing this)
So for the final in Aerobics, we need to have our own workout for a song. My partners and I decided to work with Take Off by 2PM. For those who don't know 2PM (And I'm sure a lot of you don't), they're a Korean band and Take Off is their Japanese debut. I was in charge of recording the song and putting it on my iPod.
Since I wasn't at home all weekend, today is the last day for me to record it. Of course, I forget my key and was walking around the home looking for an open window. After my third time around the house (and after stepping in either dog or cat crap, I couldn't tell which it was) mom finally came home. After explaining the concept of "The iPod can hear your if you are baking downstairs" with her, she went into her room to wash up first.
Take one heard me rustling and almost falling off my chair barely a minute into the song so I went to setup for take two when the garage door slammed shut (office right above said garage door. And garage door means the  back door). I heard my sis stomp up the stairs and throw her jacket to the side. After I talked down "Aww. I was recording a song!" I found out my sis is not in a good mood. She yelled at me, then went over to my mom, and after not getting all the sympathy she wanted, yelled at her, went up to where I was and complained to me (I learned long ago to not respond when she's complaining cause she yells at ya either way) about how she is always covering for other people and no one ever covers for her even when she's sick, how she has to work 12 hours, and how much she hates this job.
So it's now been about 5 hours and I have finally gotten the song recorded. Had to wait for sis to go to the job she loves of so much!

On another note, I have gotten sick. Yay! It happened this weekend as I had to go to 2 birthday parties right after the other. Friday - Saturday then Saturday - Sunday. Last time I am ever doing that again. I miss my bed too much. So Saturday, my throat started to get a little sore near the evening. I asked Spain if she had some tea that I could drink since it helps my throat a lot. She had this organic medicine-like tea made for sore throats. It took ten minutes to steep! So after an agonizing 10 minutes of waiting for this deliciously smelling tea, I took the first few sips. It was until about the seventh sip when I coughed a bit. Actually a lot. The tea, Delicious as it may be, made my voice disappear for a good 3 hours.
It's still a little iffy now. My voice still sounds hoarse and I can't reach above a certain pitch. Above that pitch, it is either is just air coming out of my mouth or squeaks then dies. I have been bringing tea to school with me everyday now. May not have any left later....Where is that coupon?....
Ciao for now!

Update!!!

Just finished the first layer. I learned that dish soap is my new best friend. I had some weird rustic bread so now I really feel like Da Vinci. Going back to do second layer now.

I made a mask! And A Huge Long story behind it!

Yes I did. It was evil.
Monday I went with Spain over to her house. Her birthday party is on Saturday and it's a Masquerade Massacre. Think life sized Clue. So both of us decided to make our own masks using this weird plaster stuff and other stuff. I think it was called Gesso.
Anyway, I was the guinea pig to see if the technique actually works. Yay. So first she had to put Vaseline on my face to keep the stuff from sticking (Vaseline is not pleasant! At all!) She decided to put Hetalia on her laptop to keep me from moving too much but I kept laughing at it (Hetalia: Anime show. We cosplay as character from that show). After the (weird evil...really evil) Vaseline covered all around my eyes, nose, and hair (!) she got all the plaster wrapping stuff. She had cut out the shapes earlier and now just had to dunk it in water then attach it to my face. Sounds easy and fun, right?.........Don't even.
It was messy and I had plaster dripping all over my jeans and shirt. It felt so weird on my face and I couldn't smile or laugh (Please remember, Hetalia is on and it is one of the funniest anime's I've ever seen). While Spain was putting on the second layer, my character appeared in the anime and started insulting everybody. Because of that she giggled and some of the plaster water dripped in my eye.
Luckily, there was a tissue box behind my backpack. After insulting Spain, I kept the tissue to save my jeans from anymore damage. After the third layer and ten minutes for it to dry, we slowly tried peeling the mask off my face. It took a few eyelashes and a hair with it.
Now yesterday, in anime club, Spain brought her mask and my own (she kept it safe) and other materials since we had to smooth out the masks. I shall spare most of the process cause I couldn't do it that well and Spain had to do it for me. Finished product? A blank mask ready for our painting. Well her painting and my attempt at painting later today.
Taking the mask home from school was an adventure too. Since it still had to dry and it was 30 degree outside. I had to hold it in my hand while walking home which takes about forty minutes. I walk slowly, okay? No judging. But I was spared from frostbite when Mary (AKA Squirrel-obsessed-weirdo-soon-to-take-over-the-world-with-her-army-of-squirrels-and-llamas), who feels no cold at all, carried it for me until we saw my mom driving and flagged her down for a ride.
Story is not over yet.
Since I now needed to paint my mask, I realized I had only watercolours and Oil Paints. Watercolours are out with masks and Oil is evil to remove (My colour tray is still stained after soaking everyday for a year), so I asked artistic friend, Shortie, for help. She said "Yeah I have some. Come over after your club since I'll be back from the barn by then and I'll let you borrow them."
I walked home again (this time it took 55 minutes) and walked down to Shortie's house. She wasn't there yet but since her brother knew me, I was let it. After checking her room quickly I found only the metallic silver, at which that point, she arrived.
I asked her about the paints and she said "Oh yeah. They were all dried up. I only found that one."
Walking back home in complete darkness now with only one colour as my spoils, I defrosted here at my desk and now I need to figure out how to paint with Oil colours and finish it before Saturday.
Did I mention that I have another friend's party tomorrow to Saturday, then a few hours till Spain's party.
Now this is a really long post. I think the longest yet! So Ciao. I need to hunt food and work on the mask now.

Another before going to sleep

I decided to try out the new (kinda new) blogger interface again. I still don't like it but I hafta get used to it sometime.
It's kinda better in that all the orange is gone but now it's all gray! Light blue would be a better colour palate.
And that it would actually accept colour and favourite as real words. I like this spelling more.
I suppose I should also start adding labels to these things.....Oh well.
Ciao!

Quick Post before going to sleep

And it's in a different font! So exciting!!
So, I have been making new videos that do have me in them. Now, because I don't want to put them directly on them, I'll tell you how to find them. Both were school assignment and I have two more videos to be made soon just for fun.
To find them:
Go to YouTube
Type in the search-bar "bunny2299" (don't type in the " ")
Look at either the Montesquieu newscast or the Talent Show Spiel.
Both are fun, but I messed up more on the Montesquieu one.

By the by, since I liked the way Enlightenment News sounded, when ever I make videos just for this blog, I'll call them "Enlightenment News Specials"! Catchy, isn't it?
Ciao for now, I hafta go. This font sucks by the way. In the posting thingy where I type all this, it looks huge and is messing me up. Next post will be in Courier Font!
I want better choice of fonts though.

Go way back in this blogs history...

And you will find old posts where I repeated song lyrics of several SJ Tucker and Blackmore's Night songs. I did that mostly because I was trying to memorize songs and they were all in one place. Now I'm doing it again because SJ Tucker has released another CD, or at least a digital single. I'm very happy and I've been listening to them over and over. The songs I'll put on here are called Rootless and La Sirene. Rootless is my favourite but La  Sirene is close behind. They are both kinda long but see if you can follow them. They're small cause there are type issues. If you want to hear both song (which you will because they're awesome) and to get some background info please visit SJ Tucker's music page to see all her songs and Cd's. http://music.sjtucker.com/indexpage

Shield brother calls to beg me
get a message to his girl
ancestors stirring, sending messages
through our own across the world
I am listening, I am following
as warriors of the light can only do
we ride rootless
on heavy medicine
every day until our lives are through
CHORUS 1
we ride rootless on heavy medicine
disconnected from the ground
we ride rootless in dark places
unafraid that we might fall or die or drown
we are working, we are tireless
we are seekers of the way
we ride rootless on heavy medicine
and we live to fight another day

Time to do the work while my bones and blood are wild
with lessons learned and secrets shared
Friends and lovers help me put my armor back together
and never let me leave home unprepared
My comrade sets his fiddle to his shoulder
and I know today there'll be no turning back.
We'll ride rootless
on heavy medicine
unashamed of what we lack
CHORUS 2
We ride rootless on heavy medicine
disconnected from the ground
We ride fearless in dark places
hearts in danger but our spirits safe and sound
We are working, we are tireless
singing songs to stir the sky
We are honor bound to share these visions
walking tall and getting by
walking tall when we don't fly

Dirt beneath my nails
I claw my way home from the forest
just as crazy as before
but I am breathing and I am laughing
taking one step at a time
bringing truth from door to door
and I'm not the only one
one of many
unafraid to open eyes or heart or mind
We ride rootless
on heavy medicine
and we do it all the time
CHORUS 3
We ride rootless on heavy medicine
disconnected from the ground
We ride windward across the wasteland
skin in danger but our hearts all safe and sound
We speak the language of song and shadow
We are tenders of the flame
We ride rootless
on heavy medicine
and from day one we've never been the same
CHORUS 4
We are healers working retail
or working graveyard without pay
We tell stories in our circle
We listen or we dance or we just pray
We are working, we are tireless
We are teachers of the way
We ride rootless on heavy medicine
and we walk it every day
CHORUS 1
END COUNTERMELODY:
we are here so the stories get told
don't give up ride out be bold
build the fire bright and strong
speak your truth and sing your song

you are here so the stories get told
goddess bless your weary soul
raise your voice to call the cry
storytellers never die
goddess bless your weary heart
tried and tested, torn apart
holding hands around the flames
healed and whole we rise again
goddess bless your weary soul
we are here so the stories get told
and we live to fight another day

I pray to La Sirene
she who calls the waves her own
I pray to La Sirene
I pray to La Sirene
I dance for La Sirene
she who calls the waves her own...
I sing for La Sirene
she who calls the waves her own...
I sing for La Sirene
I sing for La Sirene
I pray to La Sirene
final tag:
I sing for La Sirene
I dance for La Sirene
I pray to La Sirene
counterpoint 1:
sirens sisters singing low
show me how your gardens grow
tell me how how the current flows
teach me how to breathe below
let what flows through me prove as true
as roll of ocean under moon
upon the shore I'll sing to you
I'll gladly come and see you soon
water bids me come and dance
to float on top and take a chance
by water be this spell enhanced
say hail and welcome now
I pray to La Sirene
help my voice like siren song
ring out bright and clear and strong
to keep on singing my life long
I pray to La Sirene
let what flows through me prove as true
as roll of ocean under moon
upon the shore I'll sing to you
I'll gladly come and see you soon
help my voice like siren song
ring out bright and clear and strong
to keep on singing my life long
I pray to La Sirene
I pray to La Sirene
counterpoint 2:
Yemaya, o ya Mambo
Yemaya, o ya Mambo
Yemaya, o ya Mambo
pray to La Sirene
counterpoint 3:
I sing for La Sirene
I sing for La Sirene
I pray to La Sirene
I pray to La Sirene

Rawr!

I really don't have a lot to say. I have no new manga to read and now I'm just clicking "random" and reading every single completed one. It's hard to find completed ones now. Ones that are actually good.

Saturday, November 12, 2011

Wow, new post! And one where I'm just a smidge mad!

Okay so I am doing homework today because of conferences. I'm working on Hamlet journal, and I was working on allusions (Ideas is literature kind of passed down like the idea of the Bible in the Lion King. Really, look at it closely.) So a lot of Emilie Autumn song's have references to Hamlet. (To those who haven't read Hamlet: You have not lived and "For shame, for shame")
I had to search up many songs anew because all the ones I listened to privatized all her videos. I listened to the song then wrote what I thought with the similarities. So I was re-searching Opheliac when my sis decides to wake up. She told me that she needed her music to relax before work. I calmly told her I needed to do my homework with my music first. She decided to have a bloody meltdown with whiny voice! She told me I promised and she needed to listen to the songs before the 12 hour shift. I said that this was for homework and I also need to find them. When she told me I could listen to her songs while doing homework, I again, calmly, said that I can't concentrate with other music while trying to write about a specific song when it is a completely different genre.
She decides to sit on the couch and cry. And it didn't even look like she was fake crying or really crying. Let's just say WORST ACTING EVER. So I finally relented because I knew she would keep whining like a freaking toddler until I played her songs. So now I'm here on blogger trying to type while horrible music choices are playing. Only two of the 17 songs so far I listen to.
Now what happened next made her whine again. My mom needed to go online. They had their own battle about the computer and I got kicked off. Now, I'm back on and working on Hamlet again. Except instead of listening to EA I decided to go with Trance- Secret Melody.
That was my day. Wasn't it amazing? Ciao till next time.

I'm tired so no complaining.

I didn't get to film much of the party and there were so many inappropriate jokess I would never have gotten away with it anyway. I have made a new video for school so if you want to check YouTube it's on there. (This was supposed to be published last week so....It's time travelling!)

Just a small Side note

I don't know if this is happening to everybody or just my "Bi-polar, ADHD, Teenager-like Computer", but when I go to the home page, it scrolls down either halfway down the page or all the way to the bottom. Please just bear through this inconvenience. I'm still having issues with the new Blogger interface, it's so evil!

My Camera Is on the Couch, Too lazy to just import a few videos.

says it all. But I have other news!
Homecoming!!!
Was yesterday. I didn't tell you guys last time because I still wasn't sure. So yes, I did go and it was quite...Amusing is a good word. From seeing from friends getting dressed up and paying the $8 entrance just to play Magic, to my friends all cheering at random times (My friends need no energy drinks).
Warrior Cat (Back when he was lighter)
Now for some very exciting news! My blogs shall now have mascots! Poetical Kitten and Warrior Cat (Isoya's cat as he was sitting on my lap and my fat cat.)
Poetical Kitten
These two male kittens will appear here and there when advice, sarcasm, or just some fun is needed. Poetical Kitten is more intelligent while Warrior Cat is here for quotes or a fun picture. Which brings us to his first quote: "When hungry, eat. When tired, nap in a sunbeam. When doing to the vet, pee on your owner." I forgot where I heard this quote but this is Warrior Cat to a 'T'. Except he didn't pee. He just ran around the house and clawed me.
Well that's all for now. Warrior Cat is now napping on an extra copy I had of my Psychology test. Poetical Kitten is still at my friend's house probably. So until I actually get up and put my videos from my camera to the computer, you'll still have to wait until you see little tiny me. Ciao till then!

Usagi Hikari will be making her first live appearance!!!

Yes the news is true! I will be making a video TOMORROW! This is in celebration of my friends (Day Before) Halloween Party! I'll be filming the whole shopping, decorating, and the party itself. And that means you will see every moment, every joke and you'll even hear me!
Hope no-one gets disappointed!
On a second note: I have finished a nice photo essay. It will be all about civilization, so keep you eye out for that post!
Ciao for now, I need to keep warm in this house somehow.

Sunday, October 2, 2011

Ok, finally a good long post.

Since I have some time, this will be a good updater post.
School is normal and boring so no new posts on that.
Anime Club: We didn't get many new members and Ryoku is finally getting more of the script for the live-action done. We have gotten several ideas for the plot and even our previous President is making cameo appearances!
International Club: I have no clue, I was watching over the Anime Club booth during the club fair. But I hope we have some new Freshies.
Now a new club has made its' appearance!! Self Defense Club! (Those of you who know me: laugh. Those who don't: I'm super weak and probably will die the first day). This was One of my senior friends' idea because of I have no clue what, but she's making me join.
Let's see what else there is.....
I'm freezing! I was probably complaining about how it was really hot, but my right hand is ice cold. I don't know why though.
I really don't know what else there is. Other than writer's block is evil.
I hate this! Sorry to completely change around on everything, but my sis woke up. You have to love family when the first thing they say when they see you is, "Did you finish your homework?" Yes I did, thanks for ruining my whole day, b****. (I told myself I should curse less.) I was having a nice day today, then someone had to wake up. Thanks to the bloody kraken.
Now I'll head back to my eighteen page story. It'll take forever to finish FDTR. Ciao!

Monday, September 19, 2011

Meh!!

This shall be very quick as I have a new story idea.
I will be posting less often until I get on top of school or until something actually happens. Since I'm not in any Shakespeare class, most likely it will be about the party plans my friends have and clubs I'm in. It's mostly International Club (formally German Club) and Anime club.
On classes this year, I'm in German 1....I can already speak German just fine so Frau is letting me read most of the time. I have some friends in that class with me, so I'm  happy!
Ciao for now!

I can't sleep

Before I say anything else, I have not forgotten you. I was just reading and writing and school started.
Now I did forget my Les Miserables posts because I couldn't get into the book. So I read Jane Eyre. And I made all my notes on the iPod books. Now I am tired to I'll post more soon. Maybe the highlight pictures of summer.

Not on Les Miserables, but on my first Onigiri!

This is quite a milestone for me, so no way I'm not going to blog. Today, me and my sister (I don't talk about her much but her insight on Japanese culture is useful) were making dinner and had forgotten about the rice in the rice cooker she got for her birthday. We both ran down but it looked fine. We started on our first hand-made Onigiri!
For those who don't know, Onigiri is a Japanese rice ball.
Anyway, right off we had a problem. I had washed my hands just before so not much of a problem for me, but my sis had. The rice kept sticking to our hands. I figured since I washed my hands, it didn't stick as much, so we tried my theory. It worked! (For me) So we made about seven. My last one was the best!! I'll take a picture and put it up when I get the chance.
Normally Onigiri has a bit of seaweed on them, but I had a bad experience with my first seaweed, so there was none in the house.
So to my first Onigiri and a good day in my Renaissance tunic (It was too hot so I wore my tunic and my hair up in a leather barrette I got) and listening to my favourite music! *Kampai!*
Ciao!

Not on Les Miserables, but on reading none the less.

*sigh* what a night of reading...
Many times I have been killed by the effects of the AP Euro curse. For those who don't know,  the curse is basically: Anything you learn is AP Euro, you will find in everyday life, such as books and manga/anime. Now, I have read several books so far with references such as Corn Laws and French Revolution (Lord kill me now). Now, while reading at one in the morning, I found another one.
The Shakespeare Curse. As many of you have read, I was in As You Like It. And if you're in a play, you basically remember it for the rest of you freaking life!
Example 1:
In The Fire Rose, a book by Mercedes Lackey, it references so much bloody European history, I was about to hang myself. Just when I was calming down, they talk about names. The main heroine's name is Rosalind Hawkins. Let us just pause for a moment, shall we?   (For those who don't know Shakespeare off the top of their head, take this pause to go on Wikipedia.) Ya feel my pain now. They even go so far as to mention Shakespeare. Though that is as far as they go.
*Another sigh* Why must school curse me so? It's still August. Even though it has gone by so fast again.
This will be posted in the morning since I can't get any wifi. Notes are quite useful.

On Les Miserables-

I have realized the chapters are just like in Hard Time (Charles Dickens) (Never read it!). Very short, only about a few normal pages long. Because of that, I would be here forever trying to make a post for each one. So only every few would I post something. Since I do get distracted by other books quick easily, I haven't gotten very far. All that has happened so far was Hugo was describing this bishop or priest character. Now I'm all for character development, but get on with it! Get to the interesting part, come on hurry up!
I'll be making a more detailed summery later, it's just now, I'm hungry.

Introduction

I accidentally deleted my perfect first copy of this introduction, so I'll see if I can reproduce it.
At one in the morning, I started reading a book I didn't think was going to be interesting. After the few pages, I knew this was going to be my book.
I had originally found this book in the form of an anime(Japanese Animation), but I could never find the next episode. I later learned from a friend in Spanish that it was also great Broadway musical. From book turned musical and later turned  into anime, I have a lot I could compare it to. The book I chose to read is Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (Pronounce Le Mis. I had the same problem when watching the anime).
I will be posting my AP summer homework of reading the book, chapter by chapter, on my blog. I would probably be writing them at around midnight, then posting them first thing in the morning.

Aloha!

So, I've been meaning to do one part of my AP Literature summer homework. So until I finish Les Miserables, all post from here one will be for my teacher, if she needs to read it. So, if you want to know what Les Miserables is about or if you just want to see my ideas and thoughts about it, keep checking in everyday. The chapters are really short and I'm reading it on my iPod.
Ciao till I'm done!

.............*Hides behind tree*.......I forgot about this blog.....

Yes, I did forgot to update this blog and to even check it for a while. I blame myself always being bored. Anyway, time to tell ya about my very cool weekend!
So, I had called up a few friends, from Samie's party a while back. We all wanted to head down to the Ren Faire that was happening. (For those of you who don't know, Ren Faire is short for Renaissance Faire.) I had also convinced everybody to some and dress up. I had saved up all my money so I could buy a tunic I saw on one of the merchants website. (My chair rocks back and forth....Now it's a few inches shorter. I feel so tiny!) Anyway, Everyone came and we had fun listening to a few of my songs I had put on a Ren Faire playlist on YouTube, which I am listening to now. Mostly Heather Dale and a few instrumentals.
I wanted us to head down to the faire at around 10, but since Samie had more trouble making up than I normally do. (I am not a morning person at all! It normally takes a crowbar or my alarm clock falling to the ground to get me out of bed. That day, I had woken up at six.)
We headed down to the faire and made it around eleven- forty. The first thing we did was try and find the booth for my tunic so I wouldn't be left out. I found it and put it on right after I found it. After, we quickly hurried to find a spot during the jousting match that they had at noon. Even though it was still about 5 minutes till the match started, we had trouble finding a spot where I could easily film (Ishymaru couldn't make it, so I tried getting pictures.). It was really cool seeing the knights fight each other, especially the little retorts they threw at each other.
Afterwards, we all watched a bit of the Bawdy Juggler (Those easily offended, don't watch!) Before heading to the food area to get some ice cream. (Yes, I know ice cream is not Renaissance, deal with it. It was a very hot day!) We walked around more when Isoya and myself wanted to watch the Bawdy Juggler again, cause I knew my other friends would get a kick out of it when they watched the video. I filmed almost the whole thing and tried hard not to laugh.
We left soon after that. It was really hot and I got another small sunburn on my shoulders. Again.
So that was my fun weekend. Now, the next fun stuff I have planned is the Old Fashioned Festival this weekend and the Anime meeting tomorrow.
Oh, Update on Anime Club! The president, Akira has now resigned from her post because her schedule is too full to be in charge of Anime club. She said, she'll still come to some meetings and be in our Live-Action as a minor reoccurring character, but no longer as a president. So myself and Ryoku (Her anime name is a guys name), have been promoted. She is now the President and I'm the Vice President. We still need to see who is going to be the Secretary. Then we can start filming! I'm so excited for filming!
So that's it for now. Wow this was a long post and I got it done in one day! I'm so proud of myself! Ciao!

Aloha! I'm Back! (It's been a long time)

(I forgot to finish this post...Pretend it's Tuesday.)
Yes, I am still alive! I have not vanished of the face of the Earth! (Though it is too bloody hot in the little office space! I want A/C!!) Since I have been away from WiFi for about a week, I have a lot to type about.
We finally had some summer weather! It was cold for all of Spring, and just this week, we finally got above 80 degree temperature. Now it's just too hot!
So, I finally looked at the pictures and videos that my dad took from the As You Like It production from April. I was so embarrassed that, I'm sorry, but no pictures or videos will be posted.
Now on to the trip I took with my dad and step-mom to Sisters. Sisters is named for the three mountains really close. Taking the back roads was a lot more fun than the highway, since the long, winding roads at around 80mph is so much fun!!
There wasn't much to do in a town of about 2,000 people other than a seventeen booth fair, walking around, and finding a street musician you could talk to for hours. We talked for only about an hour since I did have to leave.
I'm going to go back to my ninja mode. I have no patience to type in ninja mode. Ciao everybody! I think I'll say Ciao for a while.......Bye!

Don't worry, this is a good post

My last post was written in a fit so now I can actually report some stuff finally.
SurvivorGrrrl finally added more posts on her blog as well that I need to start reading before I go to my dad's this weekend. I'll be leaving at eleven in the morning on Thursday and I won't post again until Tuesday or Wednesday. We are heading over to Central so my dad and step-mom said I can just see what I want to do over there for fun! Freedom!! I'm thinking more going to the downtown and the fair that was going on.
Also, I'm going to be away from my sister during her birthday, so I decided to make her a scavenger hunt for her to get her present. I'll make the first one easy then the other's really hard. It'll be fun for her.
Not much else going on since it's summer. I shall now go! And hunt for some type of food. I lost two chocolate bars and I really want them. Ja Matta!

STOP FUCKING SCREAMING!!!!!!

Every time I'm at home, my sister makes a huge bloody deal out of everything and she has to scream and yell about it. Why can't she just calmly talk about it? It even stresses me out so much that I need to scream just so she can get the bloody point!! The only time she was nice to me was when I had my three day migraine and even then it was just more rules that she makes up! She always screams when something is misplaced and then it just.....even now everyone bloody pressures me so much.
I wish I could just leave this place forever and never come back!! It's a prison of hell that makes me just want to scream until I die! Why couldn't I have been born in a normal environment? I could easily run to any city at a moments notice if I really needed to. I wonder why I don't.

I got an iPod screen protector!!

Everything looks so weird on my screen now. I mean there's no glare or mirroring. But instead it feels weird to type and stuff, and it's got that little weird texture kind of thing. I guess I'll need to deal with it now.
Small post for today, Ja Matta!

I'm really easily Bribed

My fellow blogger and good friend have made a second blog. This time, it's on fashion. If you know me, and as I am going to explain, I'm NOT fashionable. Last time I did go shopping, was a new store here where I live and I had to take SurvivalGrrrl17 with me for help.
So, since I'm getting invited to her Chocolate Party, and she asked nicely, here is her brand new blog: (let's hope I don't have to be her mannequin.) http://fashionstrudel.blogspot.com/
Now on to something else!
School is finally out and I only failed one class! It was stupid Lifetime Activities, our PE class. Don't judge, they made the two papers we did worth more than the final and all other days combined. Of course, I didn't turn in the papers. But now, I am free and I can do whatever I want!.....In the confines of stuff like "laws". Well, now I have money, so I can get a few things here and there....Like a haircut. My hair is getting to the point of too long again!
That's about all for now, so I'll see you in about 4 days!Don't forget to check SurvivalGrrrl's blogs and
 Ja Matta!!

Back Again...

So I'm right now next to my fellow blogger, SurvivorGrrrl7, as she is working on her newest blog post for Horror Movie Survival 101. The link to her blog was on my last post. Anyway, she is having some trouble finding the right horror movie. I am just fine not watching most of these...Ya I am a chicken but at least if I hide I might survive.
Nothing else to report, so Usagi shall go back to trying to help. Ja matta!

Finals Week.......*Starts getting the stress ball out*

Aloha!
Because it is finals week, I wanted to be happy and not be in any way too stressed this week!......Ha! AS IF! I'm failing AP Euro and a few other classes. It's so bloody annoying (I've started saying bloody so I wouldn't curse all the time).
Anyway, let's see if I can find something interesting in my life...
I have a friend of mine who also has a blog and I'm mentioned as a research assistant once. I think I mentioned the day my friend dragged me out to go see The Room-mate. She doesn't have a lot of posts but I owe her one for helping me out a few times. http://survivinghorror101.blogspot.com/ She loves Horror stuff and dragged me along once. Next time, I'm wearing a hoodie.
Let's see what else........Not much I can think of now. My life has been pretty normal and "blah" since the play ended and nothing else is ha-Wait!
I remembered it! One day during Health with all the Freshies, our conversation turned to the Paranormal. Normally, I hate Paranormal stuff. It scares the s*** out of me when I watch TV at two o'clock in the morning. Anyway we just kept talking and somehow we formed the Paranormal Hunters Association of our town, called P.H.A.N. for short. Don't you dare diss it, I made it up. Since I'm the oldest and...*cough cough* most mature and responsible of the group, I'm the researcher and the leader. All the best for us, a new book is coming out all about the haunted places in our town! I'll be making a FB page so I can help organize our "field trips". If anyone has any old equipment like infra-red camera, heat cameras, or voice recorder, please send me an email! We are thinking of making a YouTube series out of it. We don't have a lot to work with though. As I'm the oldest, even I don't have a driver's license, much less a car. And it's finals week so we can only start during summer, which is when we start filming for Anime Club series, Blood Jewl (It's spelt that way).
So that's what I have for now! Check out my friend's blog please! Ja Matta!

...............................My left arm still hurts...........

So yesterday I went to the Doctor for the first time in about 5 years. Seems I needed to get a few shots up to date. My right arm is fine......My left arm bloody hurts. I got a tetanus shot and I can barely use my left arm any more!  I do use my left hand a lot, even though I'm right handed.
Anyway, nothing else is going on other then school is about to end. And I'm failing like 3 classes!! Yay!! Some classes are easy to pass, but for some reason I can't do the work (Damn trigonometry and chemistry....and P.E......and Spanish.) Some how I'm barely passing welding (I can't Oxy-Acetylene weld.) But I am getting back on track. I'm exchanging welding lessons for Geometry help! Let's hope I can still help him even after my bad Trig test.
Anyway, there's not much going on in my life, so let's hope there'll be some interesting news in the summer!!
Ja Matta!!

bOrED StiLl

As you can probably tell, I'm bored(you can tell I'm going back to weird titles). I normally have stuff to do, but even with my new iPod, posting is getting boring when you have nothing to write about except what I did today (not much) and how life's been going(not good).
I had a huge "freak-out" a few days ago and cut off more bangs from my hair. Not it looks even worse so I need to get a hair cut soon.
I'm getting tired from typing again (how can people text so much). I better see what else this iPod can do.
Ja Matta!

My Birthday!! I'm one year older!!

So, as you can tell, I had my party without a problem. I got for presents: a necklace, a new shirt, candy, a cinema giftcard, a drawing of me as a bunny, and an iPod Touch! I do think I'm the happiest person right now. It was a really fun party with so many jokes coming out of our murder mystery theme. In truth, we only did one mystery, opened presents, played Poker, and tried to throw a balloon up to the window (It's a long story). Well this is a really short post because I'm doing all of this on my new iPod and my typing finger is getting tired.
Ja Matta! I'll post more tomorrow! ♪───O(≧∇≦)O────♪
I've been playing around with the Japanese keyboard…. Don't jugde.

Cold Sunshine

That is what describes many days for people. While they many seem happy and sunny outside, inside, they are cold as ice. Inside, they turn away from people and just want to scream and cry out. Every single person out there has a Cold Sunshine.
This is just something I felt needed to be said. I had just added new songs to my playlist yesterday and listened to them today and Cold Sunshine just seemed to speak to me. It's one of those songs that may have just been been just a new way to simplify a song, actually bring out some stuff that no one really thought of before, hence the beginning few sentences. Seems I've been in a Cold Sunshine mood for a while, even though I should be really happy about my upcoming birthday (I just decided to tell everybody. The party is tomorrow.). I don't know why I just get in a mood where I feel like just screaming until I burst! During my last "freak-out" (Which is what I call them), I even cut off some of my hair from the side of my face, giving myself bangs. I don't know why, I think it's just my way of handling my Cold Sunshine.
Well I have to go since I still need to clean up my room full of newspapers. Ja Matta! I'll leave you with the song that inspired this "Cold Sunshine" post. This was written and is sung by S.J. Tucker.

under blue and silver sky, far from the sea
snow-laden breezes, wild and free
come to do-si-do my love and me
in the land of the cold sunshine
where the highway runs, a scar, right through the snow
every turn a vista or a glittering plateau
we take the high road
through the land of the cold sunshine

winter clouds shield the trail a while
from the heat beating down in each chilly mile
breathe the freezing crystal air, watch my baby crack a smile
in the land of the cold sunshine
snowfall: the drifters are dancing
the wind farms are waving the winter in
the buffalo roam through a song again
in the land of the cold sunshine

wizard hat peaks all mark our way
gunmetal sky at the end of the day
build ourselves a fire and watch the stars wheel away
in the land of the cold sunshine
velvet sunset mountain light
we follow you west into the night
where a lullabye must be just right
in the land of the cold sunshine

world of wonder, world of white
the land of the cold sunshine

Typing, Typing, Typing.....Change playlist....Typing, Typing, Food Break

This has been what I've been doing lately when I get home from school. Read one chapter of manga then type The Hunted and FDTR. I lost my notebook with The Hunted in it, so I need to type out what I remember so I don't forget anything. A good point is that I can add new stuff in here and there so it sounds better. I have been so obsessed with typing lately that I've even stopped working on my birthday party plans. I can't decide if I should say when my birthday is, because I don't know who will be reading this. I think I will be safe if I say what happened in June. I'll just keep a saved post to publish until then. I'll let some friends even say some stuff.
Ja Matta for now, my friend called and I can't type and talk at the same time.

Sunday, May 8, 2011

Ahh, the writer's dilemma

To eat while typing. Either you get grease all over keyboard or crumbs all over the papers. Stupid pizza.
Anyway, I finished the test on Friday. It was pure TORTURE!!!! They put you in desks in the gym all about two feet away from the next person, with instructions lasting longer than thirty-five minutes! And the last set of essay questions were complete B.S.! It's all Stalin's fault. I didn't learn about him. I just wrote a thesis for that one. My friend Akira and "Zachio"(From a different post) had to console me and another friend who didn't know anything and looked like she was going to cry. When Akira left, I was walking with her and Zachio around school since the test ended after four. The school was almost completely empty.
Well I better get back to writing out Free Daughter of a Trapped Renegade, another book which has nothing to do with most of my other stories. It's based off the anime Blood+ in a way (I'm watching it now). I'll see if there's anything interesting to write about tomorrow. Now back to Haji!!!! * Fan-girl squeal*..........Damn I'm turning more into an Otaku by the day!......Which is a good thing!
Ja matta!!!!

Oh wow..........I forgot...

What I forgot is to update everybody on what's been going on lately. The reason why is because I have my A.P. European History test tomorrow (Friday) and I've been studying since the play ended.
The Play:
It ended well!! There were good crowds and my dress only ripped once during the performance (It ripped four times during rehearsals). My dad says he going to put up videos of the performances and after I watch them, I might put one or two up. Depending on if it's zoomed in on only the little-no-lines me.
Well I better get back to studying. I need to remember this one guy in this painting and I think this site just gave my computer a virus. There goes half an hour of studying.
Ja matta!

Go Away Godboy

I know I said that I need to go to bed, but I love this song so much I have to put in on here. My favorite part is the second verse line three and four and the bridge.

My made-up mind was not put here for you to change
You think that I am your lost cause, so beautiful and strange
Minding my own business 'til you criticized my friends
It's on now, time to go now. Let the heresy begin.
and so I'm screaming
CHORUS:
Go away god boy, your gospel doesn't work on me
You're pestering a goddess, here, I was blind, but now I see
You're stuck inside your holy head, you think that you're in love
Just Go Away, you lamb of god, before I have to crush you like a (bug)
Thanks for the invitation, but I've already thought this through
If I'm not one of the chosen, I won't have to put up with you.
Who wants to go to heaven when your stalker meets you there?
Better a whore of Babylon, baby.
Don't let the front door hit you when you...
CHORUS
Don't try to wrap your head around my heartful of free will
I'll shake you up, I'll tear you down, do my worst and give you chills
I'll hit you right between the eyes; these Boots will come to call.
Don't make me make you sorry you came after me at all.
BRIDGE:
You're pestering this goddess to the ground,
but she will not come down
to what's inside your head.
Go find a willing flock of sheep and preach to it instead
At least that way you're occupied and might not end up dead
and resurrected
Go away, god boy, please don't make me ask again.
I have heard you out, now it's my turn to add a spin
Your holy head is up your ass, your message ringing clear.
Go away, god boy, or it's me and not your savior that you'll fear.
*Punk Solo Break*
(Hail Mary, full of grace!  Save me from the human race!
Hail Mary, wise and meek!  Save me from this freak!)
Go away, god boy your gospel doesn't work on me
You're stuck inside your dogma and your Karma's getting messy
your holy head is up your ass, your message ringing clear
Go away, god boy, or it's me and not your savior that you'll
Go away now little boy, or it's girls and not your savior that you'll
Go away god boy, or it's me and not your savior that you'll fear.

I swear I didn't add in the Punk Solo Break, it was already on it. It's a really awesome song and sing it at least three times.

Opening Week!!!!

It's two more practices until we open on Thursday. And guess what? I'm sick!
I accidentally fell into a creek at a park while helping two friends pick of garbage. The rest of the day, I had two different shoes on (My friend likes walking barefoot, even in mud.) but when I got home, I forgot to put on warm socks or to even dry my feet. I also hanged out with my sick friend, so I'm guessing that's half of it.
Anyway, I can't wait till opening night! It's so hectic and today I didn't even get a chance to fully curl my hair. And there's a hell lot of hair to curl too! I've also been learning how to put on make-up like eyeliner and pancake.
It's a very short post, but I do need some time to get off all this crap (A.K.A. make-up). Ja matta! If anyone wants to see As You Like It, I will give anyone the information who asks in a private message sent to my e-mail.
P.S. I had to buy my own eyeliner and sunglasses since someone stole mine. I went to the store right after practice still in full pancake, blush, and eye shadow. Anyone who has ever had to where stage make-up knows why that is so awkward to do.

Play Practice Only Note for Today (Technically Yesterday)- We Have A Play!!!!!

We Have A Play!!!!
Those words made the whole cast cheer so loud, it echoed in the auditorium!!! We have one week and a day until opening night and in the words of our great director whom we all follow blindly, "We Are Ready!"
I have had my hair curled and layers of make-up put on. I have learned that because I'm not used to make-up that my eyes twitch like mad. Also it makes my eyes water a bit. Only three people from the make-up committee  are talented/brave enough to put on my mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow. I'm o.k. with the blush and pancake, and only because I don't twitch.
That's it for today. I still need to work on other stuff. Like making photocopies of the mini-fliers to put around town. Ja matta!!!

Play Practice - First Day With Make-Up

So anyone who has ever been in any type of theater production knows about pan cake (I loath that stuff). For those who don't, it's like foundation, just worse and annoying. Anyway, today was the first day I had to at least have most of my stage make-up on. If you haven't already guessed, I am not a girly-girl, so I barely even know how to put on any kind of make-up. Since the make-up committee was actually here, I was able to try to put on the pan cake (Before you ask, I didn't even try to). Good news was that my friend, (who doesn't have a nickname) Molly, was there and she knows my issues with make-up. After my first scene, I quickly changed costumes and got in the make-up room (I hate that room. Too many lights make it so hot). Molly got most of my hair (Which is long and annoyingly straight) curled with the help of Lizzy. After rushing out since I was late for my part in the Stomp, I came back during the intermission for the other part of my make-up, the eyes and finishing of the lips. She did a good job, except that we had issues since we didn't have much time and that it seems I have really small lips.
Anyway, as we were finishing up, another friend acquaintance (For lack of a better name, we'll call her Debtor since she owes me $30. It's a whole other story.) showed up since she didn't have anything else to do. She said I actually looked decent for once. She's so lucky I had to run on stage! And she's one to talk! Debtor looks like crap every other day.
Anyway, since I now found enough make-up to ask Molly to see what I might need. She's the only one allowed to do my make-up, according to her. I need to go rest up after my 6 hour practice now. Ja matta!!
