Cold Sunshine

That is what describes many days for people. While they many seem happy and sunny outside, inside, they are cold as ice. Inside, they turn away from people and just want to scream and cry out. Every single person out there has a Cold Sunshine.
This is just something I felt needed to be said. I had just added new songs to my playlist yesterday and listened to them today and Cold Sunshine just seemed to speak to me. It's one of those songs that may have just been been just a new way to simplify a song, actually bring out some stuff that no one really thought of before, hence the beginning few sentences. Seems I've been in a Cold Sunshine mood for a while, even though I should be really happy about my upcoming birthday (I just decided to tell everybody. The party is tomorrow.). I don't know why I just get in a mood where I feel like just screaming until I burst! During my last "freak-out" (Which is what I call them), I even cut off some of my hair from the side of my face, giving myself bangs. I don't know why, I think it's just my way of handling my Cold Sunshine.
Well I have to go since I still need to clean up my room full of newspapers. Ja Matta! I'll leave you with the song that inspired this "Cold Sunshine" post. This was written and is sung by S.J. Tucker.

under blue and silver sky, far from the sea
snow-laden breezes, wild and free
come to do-si-do my love and me
in the land of the cold sunshine
where the highway runs, a scar, right through the snow
every turn a vista or a glittering plateau
we take the high road
through the land of the cold sunshine

winter clouds shield the trail a while
from the heat beating down in each chilly mile
breathe the freezing crystal air, watch my baby crack a smile
in the land of the cold sunshine
snowfall: the drifters are dancing
the wind farms are waving the winter in
the buffalo roam through a song again
in the land of the cold sunshine

wizard hat peaks all mark our way
gunmetal sky at the end of the day
build ourselves a fire and watch the stars wheel away
in the land of the cold sunshine
velvet sunset mountain light
we follow you west into the night
where a lullabye must be just right
in the land of the cold sunshine

world of wonder, world of white
the land of the cold sunshine
