So anyone who has ever been in any type of theater production knows about pan cake (I loath that stuff). For those who don't, it's like foundation, just worse and annoying. Anyway, today was the first day I had to at least have most of my stage make-up on. If you haven't already guessed, I am not a girly-girl, so I barely even know how to put on any kind of make-up. Since the make-up committee was actually here, I was able to try to put on the pan cake (Before you ask, I didn't even try to). Good news was that my friend, (who doesn't have a nickname) Molly, was there and she knows my issues with make-up. After my first scene, I quickly changed costumes and got in the make-up room (I hate that room. Too many lights make it so hot). Molly got most of my hair (Which is long and annoyingly straight) curled with the help of Lizzy. After rushing out since I was late for my part in the Stomp, I came back during the intermission for the other part of my make-up, the eyes and finishing of the lips. She did a good job, except that we had issues since we didn't have much time and that it seems I have really small lips.
Anyway, as we were finishing up, another
friend acquaintance (For lack of a better name, we'll call her Debtor since she owes me $30. It's a whole other story.) showed up since she didn't have anything else to do. She said I actually looked decent for once. She's so lucky I had to run on stage! And she's one to talk! Debtor looks like crap every other day.
Anyway, since I now found enough make-up to ask Molly to see what I might need. She's the only one allowed to do my make-up, according to her. I need to go rest up after my 6 hour practice now. Ja matta!!
