Not on Les Miserables, but on reading none the less.

*sigh* what a night of reading...
Many times I have been killed by the effects of the AP Euro curse. For those who don't know,  the curse is basically: Anything you learn is AP Euro, you will find in everyday life, such as books and manga/anime. Now, I have read several books so far with references such as Corn Laws and French Revolution (Lord kill me now). Now, while reading at one in the morning, I found another one.
The Shakespeare Curse. As many of you have read, I was in As You Like It. And if you're in a play, you basically remember it for the rest of you freaking life!
Example 1:
In The Fire Rose, a book by Mercedes Lackey, it references so much bloody European history, I was about to hang myself. Just when I was calming down, they talk about names. The main heroine's name is Rosalind Hawkins. Let us just pause for a moment, shall we?   (For those who don't know Shakespeare off the top of their head, take this pause to go on Wikipedia.) Ya feel my pain now. They even go so far as to mention Shakespeare. Though that is as far as they go.
*Another sigh* Why must school curse me so? It's still August. Even though it has gone by so fast again.
This will be posted in the morning since I can't get any wifi. Notes are quite useful.
