I hate Economics~~~

Only reason I like this class is because I have Isoya in my class.
And it's one of those classes where it's guaranteed to have a sub once or twice.

So, I'm in the iMac lab right now, bored since I finished my everfi stuff, hoping no-one notices that I'm not actually typing out my Unit Seven stuff (Stupid caps lock sticks and the chair is way too low)...

Not much to say except:

I GET TO SEE MY SPAIN TODAY!!! She came back from Switzerland on Sunday and I finally get to see her today! She's been gone since Early August and I've missed her so much! And (she doesn't know this yet), but when I invited her to International Club today, I was inviting her to her Surprise Birthday Party! She doesn't read this blog, so no worries. I have been inviting people that are in my classes that know her, and told them to bring food or something small for her. I made a card for her and wrote out a fanfic she requested from me, so she has to go to dA to read it.
Her birthday was actually on Monday, but because of all the flying and jet lag, she couldn't really invite any friends or have a party (she might have with her family though). This is why it's great to have me as a friend.
When I found out she wasn't having a party, I started thinking everything over. She was my third in command in International Club, even took a year of German, so where better to do it than The International Club/German Room. I got Frau's okay with it, and started telling people in club about it. Yesterday, she finally knew that she could make it for sure, so I sent an invite out to everyone (except her) in club and told them my plan.
Everyone is so happy to see her (and in some cases meet her), but I'm sad I couldn't get any more already graduated friends. I would have invited Squirrel, but she's traveling to California right now (I shouldn't forget that I need to feed her pets).

Well, that's about it for now. I will be taking a Club group shot, so yay! Another rare picture of me!

Hope everyone else is doing well, considering everything going on in the country. The mall shooting (in my state, I've actually been to that exact mall a few times), the school shooting (I send all my love to the children and their families), and even the threats at the school I myself attend.
Don't know when I'll blog next, but I wish everyone to stay safe and have a happy/merry holiday season.
Ciao for now~!

Update On School Stuff...Yay~....

So I typing this while trying to ignore my very itching eye. The reason it is itching is because I seemed to have gotten a burst blood vessel during my all-nighter from Tuesday to Wednesday. I didn't even realize it until my friend who I was talking to freaking out and wouldn't look at me anymore. It's really weird....There's a red spot on my eye and I don't feel it nor does it hinder my vision. Except it itches like crazy!!! Nya!

Anyway, since it is Study Hall, I might as well talk about my school classes...Yay...

A Day:
Study Hall: Not the same teacher as last year, and I am passing it.
Ecology: I learn so much in this class, except the way the teacher's mind works is so scattered. He jumps from one subject/topic to the next. Apparently, that's how all Ecology teacher are, because of how everything is related....Everything!
German Tutor: I used to sit at a table in the back, but due to the new seating chart, I don't have a spot. So Frau gave me the chair in between a table and the filing cabinet. It's a cosy little cave. The only problem is it's one of the older chairs, so my hair keeps getting caught on the little round things on the back of the chair (I don't know what they're called).
Trigonometry: Mehhh. The one good thing about the class is that I sit with a group of people that are really nice and I sit with a person I've known since 1st/2nd grade. And the fact the teacher uses proficiency. Meaning homework doesn't count for a grade. Yay! The only thing is I make really small mistakes on the test, so my grade is a D.

B Day:
German 4: Passing it, even though the class is sometimes louder than the Freshman. Right now though, we're doing a project about jobs, and my job is Journalism! I get to do a presentation while pretending to be a Journalist from Switzerland. It's so much fun! (And I'm listening to German music right now)
Senior Shakespeare: Ask Ishy, I am getting so mad at this class lately. I did my Much Ado Journals, and have been trying to do my Othello Journals, but I just can't get into tragedies. And the problem with it is that is, there's an essay on Character Development on Othello based on Leo Africanus....I hate this class. And I also have criticisms on Shakespeare to study. I thought  we had to find our own, so I spent four hours of my all nighter on it, without being able to find one good one. Yeah, I cursed Shakespeare, his works, and the people that wrote the criticisms.
Economics: I have a D in this class as well, but I turned in a bunch of stuff, so I'm caught up. All he has to do is grade them. It's a really easy class since he doesn't really teach anything. Just book and internet work. He's the same teacher as from Business Academy in Freshman year, then World Studies and Sociology last year. I think he's getting tired of seeing me in his class, and truthfully, I'm tired of climbing those stairs.
Beginning Drawing: At first, I thought I would fail this class. I don't have very many talents in art other than painting with acrylics. But as I get more and more into art, I seem to be doing much better. I like drawing my little series of shadow bunnies, making it fit with the sketchbook assignment; And just yesterday, I was trying to draw a Bloody Alice character and did pretty well. Then when I got to club, I worked more on it and coloured it when I got home. Then it actually became the 2P version of my OC, Usagi Hikari. If you don't know what 2P is, you're not a true Hetalia fan.

So those are my classes, and I'm doing pretty well. I'm proud of myself! ^.^
So that's it for now, I want to work on my stories for the last half hour in class. Hope the rest of you are also doing good as well! Hope no-one else gets a burst blood vessel in the eye!

Ciao for now~! Usagi out~!

An Update On Usagi!

Started in November, Some details may have changed

I haven't really talked since school has started, and since I have an idiot reading what I am typing (who is happy I referenced him), I should talk about some new things occurring in my life, school, and other random things. Yay~!

School:
Slowly but surely, I am trying to get my grade up. Only failing one class is very, very good, even though to pass it, I need to do 4 journals. Othello (which is hard to get into). Yep, I'm failing Senior Shakespeare. On that topic, I am not in the production this year as an actor. I'm in the video committee, meaning I am filming the production. It'll give me more time after school to do work since I'm only going to be filming during tech week (last week before performance).
School has also given me a new group of friends to hang out with. A group of four freshman (who I knew before only by their Hetalia character) has now become good friends with me, and joined International Club. When I talk about them, I shall always say their character. So here we go with introductions~!:

Canada:
Is actually Ishy's cousin. She is so cute as Canada! We knew each other a little bit before, but we have gotten closer with the help of dA (another guilty pleasure. At least it is free). She's tiny (like most the Freshman) and is really hug-able.
Russia:
Not known as much as the others, but she makes a really good Russia. Freaked me out the first time I ate lunch with them.
France:
Reason why I love dA, she takes lots of pictures. I only see her at lunch and at club, but she is the taker of French in our group (everyone else takes German). She is really dramatic and loud, but it makes her fun.
Italy:
Yes, I have gained my little Fratello. I have art with her, and even though she says she sucks at art, she is amazing! She is the most apologetic person in the world. She will say sorry until you almost yell at her to stop (happened today at lunch). I think she is the person I have gotten the closest to because I sit next to her in Art. I have to hug her at least once every time I have that class.

Writing:
I haven't been working on writing as much as I would like because of my month of trying to get caught up. I'm doing much in most of my classes, just Economics and Shakespeare are evil. Anyway, I have finished another short story (with help of dA) and finished my First FanFiction. I got really good reviews and I am really proud of myself for finishing it in three days. It was Spain's Christmas and Birthday present, and she is finally coming back from Switzerland on her birthday.
My blog novel and other writing for now have been put on a Hiatus, meaning an indefinite pause. It's not doing much, considering the fact that I'm in a huge Writer's Hole. Not just a block, but a giant hole. Having ADHD doesn't help since I want to write, I just haven't had the inspiration hit me yet.

Videos:
I have been making vlogs for some events that have happened so far, I just haven't had time to edit them. I use Windows Movie Maker, and lately, it's been really screw-y when I add music. Like the audio and the video doesn't match up. And don't get me started on what the music does! I have at least one vlog that I made before school started, three during my ecology trip (which I will talk about when I post the videos), and I think one or two more. So, you guys will all finally be able to see my face and hear my annoying accent. I am not the best person to blog on videos since I think my voice sounds really terrible on camera, but everyone keeps saying my voice sounds fine. I think it's the same for a lot of people, but I just feel really weird listening to my voice. It sounds so childish! It'll still hopefully get done soon, once WMM stops being crappy and buggy.

So, that's all I have for an update right now. I'm in study hall and have a test in Ecology next period, after Advisory. Hopefully, I got enough sleep and enough food for the test. The most important thing is that my ADHD doesn't freak out and I can focus solely on the test. The reason why this test is so important is because it's my final for that class....He does the final really early, since the semester doesn't end until a few weeks after break.
Wish me luck~!

*The reason I haven't been on a lot is because I've been working really hard on missing homework. Last week was all Much Ado About Nothing journals, the weekend was all Economics, and this week is all Othello and Progress Log for Senior Project. That Progress log isn't late though, it's due Friday and it's really easy, Thank Gods. Another update will be up at the end of Friday all about classes!*

Ciao for now, hope you all excuse the late update.

Movie Review Without Spoilers: Sympathy for Lady Vengance

Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (Watched and Written on November 18, 2012)

Typing before I’m done with the whole movie. AND I LOVE IT!
All Korean movies I’ve seen so far (Mostly Horror and K-Dramas) have been really good. Everything is well thought up and really believable.
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance is about a woman, who recently got out of jail after being imprisoned for kidnapping and killing a little boy. After leaving the prison, she meets back with her former cell mates, and calls upon favours from them. It seems she is planning something. After awhile, you realize she didn’t commit the murder, but confessed to it willingly. The movie hops back and forth, from the past to the present. It shows Lee Geum-ja’s life and some bits about her cell mates.
Guam-ja’s life and her story is actually very sad. What happened to her and in her life is actually heartwrenching.
It’s hard to talk about it without giving away too much.

*Finished movie*
Afterthoughts:
The ending is confusing and I’m trying to figure out what happened after (which is what I always do) then I realized, I felt fine with this ending. Any more or any less would have been too much. I looked around on Google, and no-one really knows about those parts. I, for once, added the OST to my Youtube playlist.
I also just learned it is part of a trilogy directed by the same person. Guess what I’m watching?

Anyway, my Usagi Hikari’s Official Rating for Sympathy for Lady Vengeance is a B+. A South Korean film about revenge a woman is taking after serving a sentence for a crime she did not commit. It’s is part of a trilogy which I have yet to watch. Apparently though, you don’t need to watch the other movies in order. SfLV is the last movie in the trilogy.

*Sorry that I haven't been updating this blog lately. I'm doing a lot of Homework until the month is up/break starts. I have posts that I've been working on, but I haven't been working on them at home. If you want more info on the break I've been taking, please look at my post on Erased Out. I'll link it on here. http://hiddenwriterspoets.blogspot.com/2012/12/erased-out-on-hiatus-until-further.html
Thank you for all the support in the past, and hope that support will continue in the future! Once break starts, more posts and updates will be done to make up for everything!*

Ciao for now, and Usagi hopes to see all of you soon!

May I vent to you Guys?

I know I haven't talked in a while, and this time, it's in bad tidings. As I type, I'm actually crying. And this is the fucking reason I hate living with my family.

I had just gotten off the phone with Squirrel (She needed a friend, and I was the first person she thought of) when my mom came upstairs. She (in her already raised voice) started talking about my low grades. Now, most of you know that I do have ADHD, but what you don't know, is that I am supposed to take medication for it. But because my doctor retired, and we couldn't find a replacement for him, I have no way to get my prescription  so I've been trying to save all my pills to take when I really need them. That means that I had been having focusing problems again, hence low grades.
But now, apparently my mom decided my Senior Year is a good time to start punishing me for my grades. Really?! Senior Year?! I'm under freaking house arrest?! Great planning there, because I promised I would go to Ishy's house and then have my hair cut by Sophomore!

That led to a land-freaking-mine. Apparently, she hated how my hair looked last time Sophomore cut it. She screamed, and I fucking quote, "It looked terrible and it kept getting in your face. It is supposed to be long in front. Short hair is ugly."
Well I didn't know that my hairstyle has to be the way you like it. IT'S MY FUCKING HAIR AND I'LL DO WHAT EVER THE HELL I WANT!!! I loved the way it looked, it was perfect and I got so many compliments and so many people said how beautiful I looked. Thank you so much, mother, for helping out my low self esteem. So all those compliments mean nothing because you didn't like it?

WELL FUCK THE HELL OFF!
You're lucky I didn't chop all my hair off the last time I had a panic attack that was caused by you! Did I mention most of my attacks are caused by you, mother dear?
 She's lucky I didn't start freaking out again, since one of the few people that can calm me down is unavailable to be reached. I mean, I've always been able to raise my grades by the time reports came out. And at least I'm freaking honest about it.....

Why the hell do I have to be cursed with this? Why me. Why does he have to be working right now when I really need someone to talk with? I mean, I don't care what my mom says, I'm going to visit him anyways, but I want to talk with him. I don't want to freaking out, I want to be calmed down again! I want to be calm!

Nya!!!!!

Senior Project Proposal finished!!!

You know what that means! PewDiePie videos (For those who know what that means: *Brofist*) and Cookies and Cream Ice Cream with Whipped Cream!
Oh whipped cream! I have missed you so! These long Autumn nights have been terrible. Now I finally get to satisfy my sweet tooth! With freak ice cream!
I mean, it's not chocolate chip mint, or cookie dough, but it's the next best thing.

At least I posted something, deal with it!

Ciao for now! As I enjoy my reward!

Halfway Through October. Wow.

Sorry for no regular updates on life lately. I've been really busy on dA lately, putting up pictures, International Club, Anime Club, universities calling, College visits, Senior Project, Senior Shakespeare, and everything else.

I did spaz out a few weeks ago due to a stress situation, but I'm all better now! And I also had several anxiety attacks due to bugs in the house, but I have gotten better at calming myself down, even if there is a (tiny) spider on me. (Happened twice today)

Don't worry though, you few readers of this blog! I'm trying really hard not to stress myself out, and spreading the work around, so I should be good, as long as no-one hits my trigger.

Short update, but I just had a lot of filling food. I'm going to be in a food coma of a bit.

Ciao, prego and grazie~!

Thursday, October 4, 2012

Nyan. It's bloody cold!

Why is it, that in the morning, I'm freezing my ass off, with winter jacket, scarf, and boots.
But by the time school is out, I no longer need the scarf or my jacket.
*takes thoughtful bite of apple*

I guess we're back on Mother Nature's Hit List.

Anyway, this is just a quick post to say, I'm not dead yet, I'm just frozen solid. I haven't been posting due to huge metaphor project (finished and presented nicely, if I may add), Trig test that is tomorrow (I'm gonna kill someone), and just overall October schedule BOOKED!!!

The only thing not happening in October is the EA concert. Due to an illness, they had to move everything back a few months. Yeah, you read correctly: Months.
Meaning the concert is now in February. On a school night. Like the last two years. Except this time, I already paid the ticket.
*more thoughtful eating of apple*

Maybe my past karma decided to hit me again, and in full force, too.

Anyway, it's like 22.35, I need to sleep after finishing my apple.
So ciao for now, ja ne, and gute Nacht.

Sunday, September 30, 2012

It was a Good Sunday.....

So far, the weekend was awesome!
Friday, I was the greatest ninja in the world, made another new character on Soul Caliber V (and got a double KO with Ishy) , and started playing Minecraft (yes, I have started on the path to being a gamer). I made a house for a bunch of Kitties I made! And the house was going into a mountain! And I'm way to proud of this!

Saturday, I was able to look through old picture to find stuff for my Directing Metaphor at midnight, and slept in to around 11, before going to Laser Tag and arcade (I was always either 2nd or 3rd best at Tagging) (And DDR for the win!!), then celebrating my friend's 18th birthday party. Then watching Pewdiepie (which I have started to love watching more than I love reading Hetalian Fanfics.....did I really just say that?).

Sunday, woke up at around 10, feeling really good, watched Pewdiepie get freaked out by Slender (never watching or playing again), and play Just Dance. Now, dinner was going to be McDonald's  which I love (no matter how gross and fattening it is). So I pitched in a dollar so I can have fries as well. Now, we weren't going to get it until 8, which kinda pissed me off, but only a little (since I found new fanfics!). So, mom finally leaves, I'm dreaming about french fries, when mom calls. Apparently  we're not getting McDonald's at all! Even though I told her I wanted my stupid french fries! We're going to have Subway.....No. And then, since my sis had answered the phone, she was able to tell mom what I wanted since I get the same thing every time. A BLT on Italian Bread, toasted, with Cucumbers and Mayo. Not that hard to memorize. So I get my BLT, with barely any tomatoes, and no Mayo or cucumbers.

I still wanted Fries!!!!!!! I know I may sound greedy, but I wanted them. I haven't had them for a while. If we were going to get Subway, I would have saved my dollar. And then asked Ishy to buy me some tomorrow. Since he sometimes goes to McDonald's on B Days for Chicken Nuggets.

So that's about it. You guys will get another post soon about the Directing Metaphor because that assignment has gone much farther and probably strained a friendship that shouldn't be strained.

Until then, Ciao for now! Bueno Noches....I think...I'm totally guessing on that right now...

Sunday, September 23, 2012

.......Hey.........Ciao......Didn't know you were where here......

Uhm.....I truly have no excuse...
I forgot all about blogging! I even forgot about the video blog I still have to edit that I did with Shortie! I'm so terrible!!
Maybe that's why I got sick. Karma attacking me in the face!! I can barely focus myself to type out a long post, but I will try.....Unless I need to go downstairs to fix up some tea...I hear the water cooker.

~~~~~
Back again, with Black Orange Spice Tea~!
So a bunch of stuff has happened since the first day of school.
I went to the annual Ren faire (no I didn't take any pictures), got a nasty sunburn, Skyped with Spain, hung out with my new Freshmen.....I better introduce them now!!
So, now to our amazing Hetalia group!
For the longest time, it was just Romano (me!), Spain, Japan (also known as Ishy) (and he did all the voices to make us laugh), and Shortie was recently converted to Turkey!
And now! As they finally got into High School, we can cosplay at lunch and not just over FB.
We have Canada (my new Freshman), Russia (a whole head shorter than me, but still able to scare the crap out of me), France, and my little Fratello Italia (who is in my Beginning Drawing class). Just as a note, all of them are girls for those who know Hetalia.
I am able to sit with them on days where I have A lunch, but am farthest away from the commons, since there is no other place to sit by the time I get there. And the one time Spain was on Skype, I was able to call her and she was able to see everybody live. Two of them, Canada and, I think, Italia started spinning and singing, France was happy just being able to speak in the accent and Russia freaked me out (much to Spain's amusement).
That's what lunch has been for me. Skyping with Spain has been fun every time I do it! And I've only been able to Skype from my iPod since my computer is an iffy little thing....And I has no headset for the computer.
One another note: Yes, there is a blog video to be uploaded soon! I just need to edit the parts where Shortie made a mistake and said some peoples real names.
School so far: I rate it a B+. Ecology is okay, it's just a really fast paced class and you hope the teacher rambles on on how to test berries for poison on people in your group and how to make sure not to get killed by a bear (don't be the fastest, but never be the slowest). I'm soaring through German tutor and German 4 (Second year of it). Trigonometry is just evil, but at least I'm in the small class.
Shakespeare right before lunch is evil. (Takes break to re-watch all Hetalia episodes) I can never make it in time for pasta Fridays! T_T Then I need to go back upstairs with the same teacher I had for World Studies and Sociology last year. But for Economics, which he calls his favourite subject, and so far, he's nicer (and the class is smaller, and my Onee-san, Ash, sits next to me!).
Then I go back downstairs for art, which I made two new friends who help me (since I have no talent for it), including my fratello, Italia. Now that would seem like my favourite class, and I love the teacher, it's just it's at the same time as a bunch of really rude, annoying, and idiotic Freshmen! They already made us have a seating chart, and I'm away from both Fratello and the other girl. And right next to one of them. And the problem is that Fratello doesn't have a backbone and often gets cut in lines and pushed to the back. I have to drag her through a crowd or get the stuff that's in the middle of the crowd for her.
Well that's a lot that's happened. I need more tea...But it's almost seven...Che cosa? Really?........Why Hetalia? Well at least I got it over with so I don't have to watch another episode for another six months...
Anyway, Ciao for now everybody! Hasta la Pasta
After First Day!
So after the first day, I was able to switch around my schedule at lunch! I still don't know how half my classes will look like, such as Economics (Apparently Ash is in the same class though), or Shakespeare. I'm worried about those the most.
A Day
1st: Tutorial A (Still no bloody clue cause I changed my classes at lunch)
2nd:Bio/Ecology (Shortie wants to be in the class with me, she's switching in)
3rd: Education/Tutor (For German!)
4th: Trigonometry (Thank Gods it's a small class size) {Still Upstairs}
B Day
5th: German Four (Yay! It's the class she recommended too)
6th: Lit Author (Actually know as Senior Shakespeare) {Downstairs}
7th: Economics (My World Studies and Sociology teacher is back.....Yay.....) {Upstairs}
8th: Art/ Drawing (For the person who can't draw to save their life) {Downstairs}
PS Note:
I talked with the new teacher that moved into the old Anime Club room! Seems like we won't have to move after all! The new teacher is even a fan of Hayao Miyazaki movies! We are still alive!
Ciao for now!
Friday, August 31, 2012
I has my schedule! I'm going to die!
Mostly due to the fact that I have to climb so many Stairs on B Days!
Here we go, time to list them off!:
A Day
1st: Photography (Which I already took, hopefully I can switch out)
2nd:Bio/Ecology (Shortie wants to be in the class with me, she's switching in)
3rd: Education/Tutor (For German!)
4th: Tutorial A (Kay, I has no idea about this class)
B Day
5th: Trigonometry (I want my last Math teacher back, I don't like this one!) {Upstairs}
7th: Economics (My World Studies and Sociology teacher is back.....Yay.....) {Upstairs}
8th: Art/ Drawing (For the person who can't draw to save their life) {Downstairs}
I hope to change my schedule for another German class so I can take the AP German test. (One test that I will pass!)
Ciao for now, just a quick post for now!
Almost six am........Why?
I hate insomnia! I get it often during summer and it sucks!!!!! I want to sleep! I should be able to sleep! I have a week till school starts, why does my body hate me so freaking much that I can't sleep?! I mean, I was even able to fall asleep before three hours were up, but then, four hours later, I'm wide awake again. And somehow, my iPod had turned itself on.
*sigh* I can't even get comfortable enough to type this! Why cruel fate, must you tease me so when I have anime club in less than twelve hours! I normally sleep for twelve hours! Why today, when I have something to do later today.
*groan* worst part: when I'm up, I get hungry, so since I've been trying to sleep for a while (reading some very fluffy fanfics), my stomach thinks it's breakfast time......
Did I do something wrong? Some karma thing coming to get me? I've been good (mostly)! I even started watching tv again (which is healthier than being on the computer) and I'm finally using up the many balls of yarn I have had stashed away (even though I can only find two)!
I have cleaned out seven paper bags filled with stuff for the garage sake! That's huge in itself since I get very attached to my stuffed animals.
So why in hell's name do I have insomnia?! Nyaaa~ *rolls over in bed* ehhh....fate is so cruel....
Alright, I'll cut this post off now, before I keep rambling. So, good morning for some of you already, and wish me luck on trying to get a few more hours of sleep! .....Maybe I should have made me some Chamomile tea..... Anyway, Ciao for now!
iPod Update!! Just like a regular Blogger!
Ciao people! No, I have not vanished off the face of this earth. I'm alive, I'm well, and I'm still the same old Usagi just with the blogger app! I've done so much this summer without a computer and I've made some new decisions for this blog.
First off, I have made the decision to make weekly vlogs. Once I get my computer back, you'll be seeing quick, five minute weekly glimpses of my clubs, life and any other stuff I decide to film.
Once my computer is back, you'll hear about Haggis, meteor showers, issues with yarn (don't ask), and anything else I remember!
More pictures, more videos, more otaku moments, and more reviews!
So be ready!! o(^▽^)o Onward!
DAMN MY COMPUTER!!!!
Stupid piece of technology!!
So if any of you wonder why I'm not doing a post every week, now you know. My bloody desktop decided to hate me. It just won't work! I hate technology when it decides to stop working. So, if I don't blog that often, you know why. I might be able to do small posts if the computer is still not working when school starts,but I hope that's not the case. Please send your blessing/prayers to my computer in hopes it will start working again.
Hasta la Pasta for now!!
I'm really bad at blogging during the summer
Mostly due to the fact that I don't do that much during vacations. I sit here, hunt for food, and read.
But that brings me to something that I love: BOOKSTORES!!!!!!
And my favourite one in the world deserves recognition! It's called Banana Books, over in Long Beach Washington.
Now, if you ever find yourself up in Long Beach, and either it's bloody hot, or really cold, find your way over there. They have A/C, coffee, and Italian Sodas (Veeehh~....I had to). Every time I head up there, I try to find a new read among the shelves.
It's a used bookstore, but the books are not falling apart like library books. And the books there are actually pretty cheap! I got two books for less than $10. (Note: The first book was finished by the end of that day.)
I love little bookstores with all my heart! <3 The huge company bookstores, yeah, they have the newest books and best titles, but save the earth a bit! Buy some old books and help out those small local owners. Banana Books isn't a huge store, but they still have a ton of books! One section has the books organized on the floor since there were no more shelves. But other than that, most books are organized alphabetically by author!
So if you're ever in Long Beach, Washington, head over to that store! It's epic!
And since I'm in the mood to say it: Hasta la Pasta! (Yes, I have been watching a bit of Hetalia, problem?)
This is what I get
This is the last time I'm reading any of Spain's fanfic recommendations! Because this was the saddest RomanoxReader I have ever read! And I read a lot!
I had hoped this fanfic would be a nice, happy, RomanoxReader (Note: I am talking about Romano/Lovino from Hetalia). I had read halfway and had saved the rest for a day I would need cheering up, due to the fact I thought this was going to be a BLOODY HAPPY STORY!!!!!! *SIGH* So glad I decided to read it today, when I was just killing time. But to all the Gods above, why take it out on Romano?! He's a good guy (way underneath), and in fanfic, it would've been a lot better if he survived than Spain (Sorry, Spain, but in this story, he was a jerk{I call my friend Spain because she cosplays as the Spain from Hetalia, I know that last part got confusing[Hetalia in a nutshell: All the countries have a human representative]}
Damnit, it was a good story until Romano had to die. I'm not a fan for EnglandxReaders, but I can slightly stand them; still, why kill the one that curses a lot?
I should calm down. It's not my story, it's the author's. Be calm, be calm. I just hate people killing off characters that the "Reader" falls in love with. Like the CanadaxReader where I actually had to take a break from reading to calm down how much I balling! Movies don't make me cry at all (That Japanese one was an exception), books make me cry only if I really like the book (Only one book has done that, title escapes me), and mostly fanfics only get a tear or two. Not like this one or the previously mentioned CanadaxReader.
First you kill off the cute, invisible Canada, now my favourite character. What's next, Prussia?........I know what's gonna happen now. I'll start reading PrussiaxReader and he's gonna die.
Life of an Otaku is so hard when you get into the characters. *sigh*
PS: Didja notice I changed my picture on here? I made it myself on the most glitchy program for the iPod. I made it as close as I could to how I look in real life, including my favourite (most awesome) hat (in the world), my awesome boots, glasses, hair (how my Sophomore would love to style it), even my iPod that is with me at all times. The magic wand is an inside joke, I can't even tell you with who since it's so many inside jokes wrapped around each other with so many people.
Anyway, Ciao~ for now!
MY NEW BIKE!!!!
And before you see any of the pictures, I get to have storytelling time!!
So me and my sis went over to the nearest Wal-Mart to go find a bike I would like. So after nearly getting lost in the store (Directions on sign=useless), I found the bikes and looked around at the different kinds. I wanted one with an actual hand brake, not those where you pedal backwards to brake. (My hand reacts faster than feet) Basically, after looking, my eye keeps drawing to the cranberry red one. It's not girly at all and has one of those things for the back to attach stuff to (Like my bag).
Again, after nearly getting lost (again) trying to find someone that works that could help us with the bike, a guy finally came so I was able to get my new 'child'. Then came the hardest part. Fitting an adult sized bike in a PT Cruiser.....With a very weak person and my sis. Took about 10 minutes and I did most of the work.
Driving back, paused to get blizzards (I love Mint Oreo!!!!!!), and then the second hardest part: Getting it out. I had half of it out before my sneaker started slipping on the bumper and it was either I fall or the bike falls. I chose to yell for sis.
Once it was out I decided to call to show my mom. She didn't take it too well as it was a guys style of bike. I of course didn't care and saw no difference what-so-ever. I won over in the end and took the next half hour looking for my hex key set so I could lower the seat a tad. I bought a hex key set 3-4 years ago so I could fix the handlebars on old bike.
 And here are the pictures!!! First one is my holding bike with one hand (I have learned art of iPod pictures with one hand). The colours are cranberry red, but a tad darker, and cream. It's a Schwinn, with 26' wheels. Seven gears, with handbrakes, and white-walled tires.
 Here you can see the seat, the owners manual (which no one looks through) and the back thing made for attaching stuff to back. As you saw in pic one and two, it has fenders, which hopefully helps with mud when I drive through the one orchard to get to downtown. The seat is red and white instead of the cream on the frame, but enough mud and dirt/dust will change the white to grey-ish.
Seat after it was lowered and the back thing (I'm going to call it that from now on). And the picture underneath is another look at the frame.
Ciao~
So now I have official reached a pinnacle of laziness...I don't even want to go downstairs to get my glasses. Thank Gods I know my keyboard so well! I mean, I used to be able to at least read my screen without having to squint, but now I can only look at the keyboard to make sure I'm typing it right. Yayz for only looking at the keyboard instead of the screen!!
Oh crap. I may need to go downstairs anyway. I'm hungry...I woke up late, meaning I get hungry faster. Food....
On another note, Spain has yet to release the first chapter of our collab on DA, and I keep checking it everyday for messages. I really want to see it and write my chapter on it!!
Third note: I'm getting my new bike today! No more bloody purple! No more broken brakes! Me so happy!! Maybe now I can ride my bike more and actually be able to pedal back up the hill without having to walk my bike. So at 16.30 (still on 24 hour clock, can't revert back!) I'll be trying to find my perfect bike.
Once I sell my old bike, my old scooter, and the inline skates, that's already half my new bike paid off. More Yayz for selling lots of cheap stuff for one expensive piece.
I might do another anime review later today. Since I did finish a lot of 11 episode animes a while back. Just need to remember their names. To my pile of Otaku USA! To search for the ads they had.
Ciao for now~!
After Live Event!!
So the event just ended after Lindsey Stirling not being able to shut down the live streaming. As the comments said "New awkward moment!" I think this is why you read instructions before hand. ^^;
Anyway, I'll leave you guys at peace for now, since I want to make it to episode 70 before going to sleep.
New news!!!
I'm getting a new bike Wednesday!! It's about bloody time!! The one I have now was my sis's old one and it was too small for me two years ago. The back breaks brunt out last year and now the front breaks are now failing. I'm not joking when I say the bike lock is more expensive than the bike itself.
And my new one won't be purple!!!!! Thank you Gods!!!!!! I'm so sick of the purple!!!! And there will actually be a place to put library books on the back or front. No more carrying it on my back!
I'm so excited!
That's it for now! I has pizza and Shugo Chara ready!! Ciao for now!
Yay! Mostly happy!
And I don't even know why!
I was in such a mood, that I was able to actually work and finish our (Ishy, Shortie, and mine) 'Memorial to Pedro' video. Now it's just a waiting game till the publishing to computer is done. Normally, when you click to publish it, it stops responding, and a few hours later, it finally lets you complete the publishing.
Now half an hour till the live chat with Lindsey Stirling! That means I have one  more episode I can watch of Shugo Chara! I haven't watched it in a while, but it's still the cutesy anime I love to watch on calm days! Not to mention that Spain gave me about 7 volumes of it!
A very good day today!!
I mIgHt GeT a BiT tOo CoMpEtItIvE!
Stupid spell checker, think it's wrong when it's on caps. So The Festival is now over! I tried taking some pictures, but the camera still spent a lot of time in my bag. ^^;
So basically, when Ishy finally woke up, he admitted I won with Fireworks! 2-0!
And today, we decided to play chess! I brought out my poor, neglected set, sat outside on pillows, got some chocolate, (my newest candle which smells amazing! I have it lit most of the day) and my iPod, in case I wanted some music. I didn't need the iPod though, since Ishy insisted that he does his accents during the second game.
First game went terrible for me. My Rooks and Bishops were killed quickly, and even though I got a second Queen, Ishy checkmated me!!
Second game, it's on!! Usagi will not back down!! I blocked every single of his tries and made sure to keep his attention on the battle nearest my King, while from behind enemy lines come a Rook sneaking up, Bye-Bye Queen!! I made sure to kill all of his pieces before checkmating him!
FINAL SCORE: 1-1. I have already challenged him for another game. I can't keep it at a tie!
At least I can win during 20 questions! And probably that one version of the alphabet game where you can only use Rivers, Lakes, and other Places. I love that game! No ever wants to play it....
On another note, SPAIN IS AWESOME!!! I talked with her for hours day before yesterday (so long my iPod was overheating and I still used it for 3 hours after it started being too hot to hold). I even watch the Opening Ceremonies with her. I held my camera on my Ipod up to the TV and she watched from Skype.  We talked about everything! And as such, we came up with the best idea evah! Spain and myself are doing a Collab on deviantArt!! (For those who don't know, Collabs are collaborations. You work on a project with another person) And of course, this collab is going to be a HetaliaXReader (meaning the reader puts herself in the story). We worked on the first part together and because I can't give away any hints, it's gonna be hard to describe this.
Basically, she wrote out the first part of part one, and we discussed how we want the story to go (while watching the Ceremony). She typed out the first part and read it to me while I edited it verbally. Poor Spain! She probably read that part so much! We talked about how the reader should act and how she could meet the other Characters from Hetalia. We decided that after the first part was up, we would not be able to talk about what should happen next. She types out one chapter and I type the next one! I can't wait!
So watch out DA! Spain and Usagi's collab is gonna be the best! Watch out for our HetaliaXReader: New Chapters!! (I came up with the name! Isn't it epic?!) It's all about the Reader going to the University of her choice (just like Spain), and meeting a whole bunch of different, yet nice, people that make her feel at home!
I can't wait to read Spain's work (I never have read any of her writings before) and I hope I can actually write a Fanfic...This will be my first try and I hafta do it or else I'll feel like I'm leaving my "wife" out there hanging. Chapter one should be up by tomorrow! I'll send you all a link, and those with accounts should comment on it. Because it will be awesome!!!
Ciao for now!! Myself and my newest batch of Thai Iced tea will be going now to sleep! (After a nice shower though!)
Second post in a few hours!
So I have put a few videos up here before. But I am proud of this one sitting in my "Subscribed" box.
I have been watching and listening to Lindsey Stirling for a while. I am sad to say, I won't be seeing her when she comes in the area next week, but it's fine, there's always next time!
This video was sitting in my inbox for a while, but with school, vacation coming up, I didn't have the time. And now I regret that. This is a talented artist, not bound by corporate recording labels, doing what she loves, the way she wants to.
You may have heard of her before if you spend time browsing YouTube. She has played Covers of songs  and I like her twists on the songs. Here is a taste of that, before the big video I wanted to share with you.
See what I mean? Better than that crap they play on the radio and the stuff always at the school dances *shudder*.
Do you like? This is the version on her channel, so look at some of her other stuff.
Lord Of The Rings, Zelda, even Skyrim, there's something for everyone. (Still want that dress that she has in the LOTR video!! It's so pretty~!!)
She did a Nicki Minaj cover too! I love her covers. I don't mean to be biased, but they are better, now shut up and deal with it.
And here is the big video that was sitting in my inbox, gathering dust, until I took my break off deviantART (oh yeah, I have an account on that place: usagi-hikari9), and changed songs on YouTube.
Here is Lindsey Stirling's We Found Love.
Please support her, she's got such epic talent and is a bit on the unknown side (I say a bit because she has over a million hits on multiple videos).
So enjoy!!!
P.S. Ishy fell asleep while it was his turn to guess again. Score for far: Usagi:1 Ishy:0 He had chosen Saber Tooth. But then he fell asleep. Partially my fault, I was reading Fanfics (Spain it is still your fault for making me get into them on DeviantART. Your fault! Chigi~!)
Tea! And not just any tea! And 20 questions with Ishy!
A Thai Iced Chai tea! In front of me right now!! I made it myself and have yet to taste it! Here we go! See if my mission was a success!!!
Kampai!!! Typing with one hand is difficult...
I am so close to achieving perfection. Next time, just a bit more sugar, and maybe I should buy coconut milk. Then, I would be able to make it......
So guys all have no idea how happy this just made me. Sigh!!!!!!! I may need to make more tomorrow...Or today!
But, the coconut milk is defiantly needed.
This night is going to be great. Playing 20 questions with Ishy, listening to Heather Dale's newest album, Akira got her dad to let her go to EA  (HELL YES), and I have tea next to me.
Sometimes, you don't need much to make someone happy. It's the simplest things that you will always remember and fall back upon when you have those dark days. It's those thought you have, when you want time to stop.
Yeah, the poet in me came out again.
 And it's cheesy, but Ishy is taking a while to think up questions. He'll never get it! The rules were only nouns, no actual people or anime people...But a ninja is a noun still. It's not an actual person or a single anime person. It's like a group of people. It still works!
This is making laugh! The Italic is me, normal is Ishy.
    • Haha alright I'll start. 1. Is it an animal?
  • No!
  • Haha 2:is it a common household item?
    • Nope
    • 3:have I seen it in real life. (as in not just pictures or tv)
    • Kinda
    • ??? 4:Is it a physical thing?
    • Yes.
    • Yet I only kinda saw it? 5:Is it soft?
    • (How....) No.
    • (that's what I'm wondering) 6: is it something you can wear?
    • No. (You will never get it!)
    • (I'm still trying to figure out how I have kinda seen it...) 7:is it electric?
    • Nope (You're gonna lose)
    • (oh thanks :p) 8:is it smaller then my fist?
    • No way.
    • 9:is it a common thing to see?
    • Never
    • (yet I have kinda seen it?!) 10: is it smaller then my tv?
    • Nope. (Here, I though about it, You have seen it)
    • 11:do you own one or more?
    • No.
    • 12:Is it a type of structure?
    • Yeah kinda.
    • 19: did I see it at school?
    • Nope
    • (I lost....) 20:....is it a mineral?
    • Nope, I win!!!
    • A non-animal, rare item bigger then my tv, not soft or electric or owned by you, seen during certain events, brings no joy, in useable, sometimes in Newberg. And is heavy but not a mineral.
    • A ninja!!
    • Pffft what are you talking about, you can't see a ninja.
      You can see why I laughed. Ciao for tonight, It's my turn! And the font is yet again freaking out on me.
Nyaaaaaaaaaaaaah~~~~
From my ranting post yesterday to the I'm-bored-and-have-no-clue-what-to-do-now post. Oh, I could check me email! Again! This was the tenth time today.
First, I'm waiting for a penpal email. Second, Akira is going to talk to her dad about a solution that came up (And people say ranting on the internet never helps).
I had an all night. I watched 3 anime series (Fractale, High School of the Dead, and No. 6), and one anime movie (King of Thorn).
Rating time!!!
Fractale gets a B-. Good story, but the ending kinda failed and seemed way too rushed.
HOTD: C-. I never liked zombie stuff and this is a classic example why. THE STUPID ENDINGS! Squirrels zombie Apocalypse dream had a better ending. And her ending was that I was the cure! (I'm not making it up)
No. 6: B+. I loved the whole story, plot was good for it only being 12 episodes, and so funny at the right parts. It made me cry, but just the right amount. Warning: It does have hints of yaoi. The only reason this doesn't get an A is because (again) the ending. At least give us a freaking epilogue or something!
King of Thorn: A!! Great movie, almost no crying, a bit confusing, but perfect remix of Sleeping Beauty. And the ending song was perfect! The last shots of the movie ya see (Before and after credits) actually inspired a new poem out of me!
K still bored.....It's too damn hot!! At least if it's cold you can put on a sweater or something. But with heat, it's deadly! And no A/C!!!!!!!!!!!      And bored~~. I already bugged the cat. Too damn hot!!! I even made ice tea (which was really bitter)!
Ciao for now.....Nyeh...
